HIST202 - THE LITERATURE OF POLITICAL DISILLUSIONMENT

Description:
In the 20th century, a significant number of intellectuals and authors joined movements, Communist or Fascist, to change the world, and left disillusioned. Their writings about political disillusionment dramatically influenced the reading public and its debates. This reading and discussion seminar will explore this phenomenon through primary sources. In addition, in research papers, students will be able to study instances of political disillusionment in the contexts of their choosing.
