Righting WrongsGayatri Spivak Abstract Responsibility-based cultures are long stagnating and unprepared for the public sphere; rights-based cultures are increasingly committed to corporatism in philanthropy. The former need supplementation for entry into democratic reflexes just as the latter need supplementation into the call of the other. Supplementation is needed by both sides.
