For two semesters a group of undergraduate students have explored Penn’s history of complicity in slavery and the slave trade. They have compiled information drawn from the University Archives and archives throughout the city. On Monday, April 23, 2108, the members of the Penn Slavery Project will present their most recent findings and their plans for the future of their project. The university community is invited to engage in a discussion of Penn's past, and the meaning of this research for the university's future. Snacks will be provided.
