Research Interests
My research interests include the creation and interpretation of the American constitution as well as the literature and practice of the American religious experience and its related institutions. I am specifically interested in the legislative process of disestablishment which eventually dismantled both the myth of America’s Christian nationhood and the educational program which underwrote it.
