Assistant Professor of History and Latino Studies at the University of Illinois, Chicago

Adam Goodman has been appointed Assistant Professor of History and Latino Studies at the University of Illinois, Chicago, to begin in fall 2016.  In 2015-16 he will hold the Provost's Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Southern California.  Adam's dissertation, under the supervision of Professors Thomas Sugrue (advisor), Ann Farnsworth-Alvear, and Eiichiro Azuma, is entitled "Mexican Migrants and the Rise of the Deportation Regime, 1942-2012.”
