Abigail Koffler, was awarded the Jose Miguel Oviedo Undergraduate Student Paper Award from the Latin American and Latino Studies program for her Honors Thesis in History entitled Educating Which Ecuador: Politics, Pitfalls and Possibilities in Indigenous Education, 1927-2009. Abigail was advised by Professor Amy Offner and received additional guidance from Professor Tamara Walker.
