Postdoctoral Fellowship at Washington University

Maryan Soliman was awarded a postdoctoral fellowship with the African and African American Studies Program at Washington University in St. Louis. Maryan received her PhD in December 2014 after successfully defending her dissertation, "Inciting Free Speech and Racial Equality: The Communist Party and Georgia's Insurrection Statute in the 1930s,"  supervised by Mary Frances Berry (chair), Walter Licht, and Barbara Savage.
