Vanessa Ogle has been selected as the winner of the 2016 George Louis Beer Prize for her book The Global Transformation of Time: 1870 -1950 (Harvard Univ. Press, 2015). The Beer Prize is awarded annually by the American Historical Association (AHA) to honor a distinguished book in European international history since 1895.
