Alexandra Montgomery has been awarded a McNeil Center for Early American Studies Dissertation Fellowship for 2017-2018.
Alexandra’s dissertation is entitled “Projecting Power in the Dawnland: Colonization Schemes, Imperial Failure, and Competing Visions of the Gulf of Maine World, 1710-1800.” Her committee is: Prof. Daniel K. Richter (Advisor); Prof. Kathleen Brown; and Prof. Antonio Feros.
