Amy Offner was named Kluge Fellow at the John W. Kluge Center of the Library of Congress for the period September-December 2017.  She has chosen to decline this well-deserved award, but we offer our heartfelt congratulations!

Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) Graduate Fellow for Teaching Excellence for 2017-18

Chelsea Chamberlain has been appointed a Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) Graduate Fellow for Teaching Excellence for 2017-18.   She is one of only 12 fellows selected from across Penn this year.

As part of this appointment, over the next year Chelsea will be conducting various CTL programs, lunches, and talks in the Department.  I urge you all, faculty and grads, to be involved with these endeavors.

Alexis Broderick Neumann has been awarded an extension on her University of Pennsylvania Libraries fellowship for 2017-2018!  This reappointment is a testament to how highly the Libraries have valued her contributions.
