Vanessa Ogle has received the International Research Award in Global History for 2016. The award identifies innovative younger researchers and their contributions to the field of global history as well as an original conference proposal. Administered jointly by the Universities of Heidelberg, Sydney, and Basel, the prize comes with funds to organize an international conference that Vanessa has provisionally titled “Global Histories of Taxation, 1880s-Present.”
