Alexis Broderick Neumann accepts tenure track position as an Assistant Professor of 19th-Century US History at the University of New Hampshire

Alexis Broderick Neumann has accepted a tenure track position as an Assistant Professor of 19th-Century US History at the University of New Hampshire.  

 

Alexis received her PhD in our program in 2018.  Her dissertation is titled "American Incest: Kinship, Sex, and Commerce in Slavery and Reconstruction."  Her committee was Stephanie McCurry (now at Columbia University, co-supervisor), Sally Gordon (co-supervisor), Roger Chartier, and Dorothy Roberts (Law and Sociology).  Alexis is presently the Provost’s Postdoctoral Fellow in the Penn & Slavery Project.
