11th Annual History Graduate Student Association Conference

Sam Casper was awarded the “Best Paper” prize at the 11th Annual History Graduate Student Association Conference, “Blood and Mortar: The Experience of Violence and its Aftermaths in History,” held earlier this month at the University of Maryland, College Park.  Sam’s paper, drawing on his dissertation, was entitled, “A Soviet History of Violence: Posthumous Rehabilitation and the Anti-Beriia Trials of 1955-56.”
