Congratulations to Jennifer Rodgers

Jennifer Rodgers, who received her PhD from our department in 2014, has been appointed Assistant Research Professor in the Caltech Division of Humanities and Social Sciences and junior editor on the Albert Einstein Papers Project.  After a two-year post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Southern Florida, Jennifer was hired by Penn as a lecturer in modern German history, teaching courses on “Nazi Germany and the Holocaust,” “Gender, Violence, and World War II: Europe 1933-1950” and “Germany from Unification to Reunification, 1870-1990.”  She is currently completing a manuscript entitled “The Archives of Humanity: The International Tracing Service, the Holocaust, and Postwar Order,” which grew out of her doctoral dissertation, advised by Kathy Peiss and Ben Nathans.
