PhD candidates Conor Donnan, Sarah Yu and Jennifer Yip have set up a publicly sourced archival project entitled the Coronavirus Chronicles. The website allows contributors from around the world to submit short diary entries detailing how the pandemic has affected their everyday lives. It also features a visual media gallery, poetry and art collections, a series of feature articles by guest authors, and a regularly updated catalog of information resources about the pandemic. The objectives of the project are twofold: to allow present communities to share their experiences in this time of isolation; and to provide future historians with diverse perspectives on the pandemic.

Since it was set up in early March, the project has received diary entries and poetry submissions from around the world, including individuals from Ireland, Indonesia, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Spain, and various regions of the US.
