Ph.D. Candidate Awarded Postdoctoral Fellowship

Robert Hegwood, a PhD candidate in our program, who has been awarded a one-year postdoctoral fellowship at the Harvard Reischauer Institute for Japanese Studies!

In his time there, Robert will be working to develop his dissertation, entitled "The Social Foundations for Growth: Nikkei Brokers and Japan in the Global Imaginary, 1930-1965," into a book manuscript.  Robert’s committee is: Prof. Fred Dickinson (supervisor); Prof. Eiichiro Azuma; Prof. Siyen Fei; and Prof. Eugene Park.
