Kelsey Salveson has received the Tri-State Award from the National Society of The Colonial Dames of America in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in support of her dissertation project "The Word Became Thread And Was Stitched Among Us: Gender, Empire, and Religion in Early North America." The Award is presented every three years to a dissertating early Americanist in Pennsylvania, in collaboration with the Delaware and New Jersey Societies.
